David RobinPARKERPassed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 6 after an illness bravely borne with his beloved wife and daughters by his side, aged 81 years. Husband of his beautiful wife Brenda, much loved dad of Angela and Wendy, treasured grandad of Fraser, Amber, Fergus and the late Sadie. Father-in-law of John and Andrew. Brother of the late Raymond and Diane and loving brother to Ann, also a loving uncle and friend to many.
David attended St Andrews Church where he met his beloved wife Brenda of 59 years. He was an electrician in his early working life down the pit of Huncoat Colliery. From there he began his career at Lionel Robinson Electrical
Contractors where he stayed until early retirement due to ill
health. David loved his holidays and enjoyed travelling the world with Brenda, whether he was on a luxury cruise, exploring the pyramids in Egypt or scuba diving in the Bahamas there were always photographs to show family when they were home. He was a wonderful man, and his family were his pride and joy. Whoever he met he always talked about his family and made people know how his family was his life. His loss will leave a huge void in our lives, but we will hold on to all the beautiful memories.

His funeral will take place on Thursday, July 23 at 11am at Accrington Crematorium
followed by a wake at Enfield Cricket Club, where you are all invited to join the family in celebrating David's life.
Family flowers only, donations in memory of David to the Colostomy Association, thank you.

Dad, well what can I say but life will never be the same again but we take comfort knowing you are now at peace and no longer in pain. You were the best dad any girl could wish for and family were your life. We will remember you with fond memories and the good times we had together. We will look after your beautiful wife and our mum Brenda.
Goodnight godbless dad until we meet again.

It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell to DAVID, much loved brother to my Mum, Ann, and friend and Uncle to me. We will aways miss you. It will be strange not having our "putting the world right" chats, however, we can draw strength from you bring in a place where everything is "right." Heather and I wish to express our most sincere condolences to each and every family member and friends of DAVID at this time of sadness and raise a toast in memory off all the good times we shared. Until we meet again, your nephew, Ian.
