JoanCROWTHERIt is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joan Crowther. Joan of Highgate Crescent, Lepton and latterly Skelmanthorpe died peacefully on 12th December at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Wife of David Crowther, who died in 2004 and proud mother of Yvonne, Mark and Sarah and beloved grandmother of Lily, Elijah, Jamie and George. Joan is deeply loved and will be painfully missed, but we are grateful for the time that we had with Joan, and for the memories that continue to make us happy every day. A private funeral is being held on Christmas Eve. A memorial service for Joan will be held in the New Year. Family flowers only please, If you would like to make a donation in Joan's name, it would be much appreciated to go to the Stroke Association www.stroke.org.uk or Speak with IT www.speakwithit.org
