MaryCOOKMary Cook age 89 passed away peacefully on the 23rd of December 2021 in hospital following a short illness. She was the loving wife of James for 67 years and dear mother to Pat, mother-in-law to David and caring nanna to Paul and Michelle. Mary was a resident of Spring Hill care home and had previously lived all her life in Oswaldtwistle. All her working life was spent as a Weaver at Mills in Oswaldtwistle. Mary enjoyed many happy holidays abroad with James and she was a keen gardener and loved a good book. She played a central part in the lives of her wider family with whom she enjoyed the best of quality times. Mary and James retirement regime included daily walking her families dogs. Mary's homely, modest, contented, caring and loving presence will be greatly missed. Sincere thanks all who provided support and care in recent years. Her funeral will take place on Monday the 17th of January at 11.40 at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations welcomed for the R.S.P.C.A.
