EileenBOOTHBorn October 21, 1936 died November 8, 2025. Dearly loved sister of Fred and Janice, predeceased by her parents Frank and Gladys, her brothers Richard and Geoff and her sisters-in-law Mary and Glenyce. She also leaves behind her nephews Nicholas (Sue) and Russell and many other nephews, her niece and many great nephews and nieces and her sister-in-law Angie. Eileen spent her whole life in Accrington, growing up on Westwood Street and spending many years on Barnfield Street before going into memory care at Pennine View Care Home. She attended Peel Park Primary School and the Accrington Girls High School before starting work with the local government authority. She remained with them until her retirement. She participated in the local amateur dramatics and attended the original Accrington Stanley football games. She was also interested in local cricket, two of her brothers playing for Whalley Road and where she was the official scorer for more than 25 years. She enjoyed travelling including visiting her sister in Canada several times. She joined the local Ramblers and Oakhill Lawn Bowling Club. For many years she attended Whalley Road Congregational Church later United and finally Cambridge Street Methodist Church. Many thanks to her carers at Pennine View. Anis, Shannon and others and to Nicholas and Sue for the other jobs they did for her. Also her other visitors, thanks for caring everyone. The cremation has taken place.
