No amount of preparation could have prepared us for losing you.
You uprooted yourself , Alison and me, the powerful three we were. And gave us the Daddy and happy home we all craved.
You are the bravest and most courageous woman in the world .
My heart will forever be broken.
Love you mum.

My Tribute to Andrea

Andrea was the eldest child in the Hoyes–Harrison family, and from the very beginning she seemed to carry that role with a natural grace. She was the one who brought people together, who remembered the stories, who held the threads of family life in her hands with such ease and kindness.

To all who knew her, Andrea was outgoing, knowledgeable, and wonderfully family-oriented — a woman who met the world with an open heart. She had a way of listening that made you feel understood, and a way of speaking that made you feel reassured. Her presence lit up gatherings, and her warmth made every visit, every conversation, feel that little bit more meaningful.

For her family, she will forever be a cherished mother, grannie, and great-grannie. For her many cousins — myself included — she was a constant across the years, someone whose place in our lives was woven through childhood memories and shared history. Our connection goes all the way back to those early family visits, and it is a bond I will always treasure.

Andrea will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. But even in our sadness, we hold on to the joy she brought into the world — the laughter, the support, the gentle steadiness of her love. Her life touched so many, and her memory will continue to live brightly in every one of us.

May she rest peacefully, knowing how very loved she was

With love from Kieron
