Graham JohnSPAXMANGraham John Spaxman, age 91, passed away peacefully on 15 November 2025 in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn. Born on 29 May 1934, Graham lived a long and full life marked by devotion, generosity and quiet strength.
Graham joined Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service in Cambridge on 17 April 1956 as a Wholetime Firefighter. In April 1974 he moved to Wisbech as a Station Officer before moving to Fenland in 1976. From 1981 he served as a Temporary Assistant Divisional Officer. He retired on 31 December 1986 as Assistant Divisional Officer.
He was a much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad. Graham's greatest joy was his family. He will be remembered for the steady presence he offered to all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
