Sendell’s Funeral Services are an independent family firm of funeral directors serving the local community in the counties of Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taf and the Vale of Glamorgan for over the last 40 years. It is our aim to provide a professional bespoke dignified service which is tailored to the needs of the bereaved and their families.
The business was established in Bridgend County by Cliff & Val Sendell in 1973 and helped along by their son Owen. Val has been working as a female funeral director in the County Borough for over 35 years. Cliff was the main founder of the business after leaving his post as the area manager of the CIS funeral services, where he served for over 20 years. As of now Owen who is a Honorable Freemen of the City of London is running the business alongside his Dad.
Our funeral home is called "Heddfan Funeral Home" which is the only Consecrated Private Chapel of Rest located in the area. As a independent family run funeral director we have a long and proud history of serving local families and we pride ourselves on providing a fitting and final farewell to your loved ones.
