Percival EdwardYORKEWith his loving family by his side at home on 1st February 2026, Perce, aged 79 years, of Burton-upon-Stather, formerly of Alkborough.
Devoted husband of Janet, beloved dad of Helen, cherished father-in-law of Alan, adored grandad of Oliver, caring uncle of Tara and Layah, and dearly missed brother of Ann and Linda.
A devoted steward of Alkborough Coronation Club for many years, Perce was a pillar of his community and a treasured friend to many. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.
A quiet private committal will take place on Tuesday 24th February at Alkborough Cemetery.
At the request of family, the funeral cortege will pass Alkborough Coronation Club at approximately 12:40, offering those who wish to the opportunity to pause, reflect and pay their respects to Perce as he makes his final journey.
The family also wish to extend a massive thank you to the Macmillan Carers, and the District Nursing Teams, who fondly cared for Perce during his time of need.
Family flowers only please, by request. Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired are for Macmillan Cancer Support, and can be contributed to via the attached links or may be left at the service for those attending.
