My wife and I were sorry to hear of the passing of Margaret Wykes. She was our favourite teacher at Queens Road School in the 1950's. We have many happy memories of a firm but fair teacher who made our schooldays enjoyable. When reminiscing about the past, we often think about her and say what a pleasant and balanced person she was, besides being a very good teacher.
