TerryWRIGHTPeacefully on June 24th Terry, aged 91 years.

A much loved mum of Lawrence, Martin, Susan, Graham and Matthew. Terry was a cherished grandmother to her 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Terry was a remarkable matriarch, combining her passion for social justice, freely giving time and support to charitable activities, whilst also building a successful business as a Driving Instructor. Her always friendly presence will be missed, but fondly remembered, by all who knew and loved her.

Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass will be held Monday 14th July at Sacred Heart RC Church at 11.30am.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Dementia Action Teesside, (DementiaActionTeesside.org). Retiring collection will be made at Church.

Those who know Terry will not be surprised at her request that dress is relaxed, colourful and joyous.

I love you Terry, you’re the most amazing person and your soul could not be contained by the physical earth, the magic infinite light of the next dimension is a very fitting place for you to be. Continue to expand and grow and spread love and do good, and I’ll honour you in this dimension until we meet again surrounded with light and love (and in hysterics).

Rest in peace Nana Terry, I love you forever : ) xxx

(And yes, I said Nana on purpose to tease you)!

Dearest Terry

You were loved by our family all the time we knew you. You were mum’s best friend and made dad laugh – especially with the ‘tray dance’. You were always there for me and Diane.

Thank you for coming to Chris and my civil partnership day in June 2006 – it was such a show of solidarity and support.

You were a constant source of strength, humour and kindness and we will never forget you.

I’ve said some of this to you before but wish I’d said more.

You will always have our love, admiration and affection.
