Grandma Cynthia, only now hearing of your passing on into your Father God’s comforting embrace. You were more than a friend to me and my children. I remember fondly our day trips especially the one to Blackpool. Rest easy daughter of the Most High. Love, Lizzie, Tony, Fafu, Taii and Roo 🙏🏽

Cynthia has been a lovely church friend at The Elim Church Burton from my childhood. She always took an interest in how we were and also since I had my children. When I saw her in the nursing home at Christmas she still remembered having Sunday lunches with my parents. Very fond memories of a thoughtful caring lady and friend who has gone for her reward.

We have known Cynth for over thirty years through working in the town. She soon became a friend of the family and often came to our family gatherings. She also had kind words and especially loved the children. I'd not bumped into her for a while and my daughter told me she was in a nursing home. In the meantime I had moved abroad. We shall miss our lovely chats Cynthia was a lovely person inside and out. Our condolences to the family. God bless. Jeanette and Dave, Zoe Lisa and children
