I miss you more than words can say,
Your voice still echoes every day.
You’d smile and say, “I love you, good girl,”
And just like that, you’d calm my world.
We’d sit and talk, just me and you,
Putting the world to rights like two
Old souls who knew, through joy and pain,
That love like yours would still remain.
Your kindness wrapped me like a shawl,
You caught me gently when I’d fall.
No judgment—just your steady hand,
Your heart the place I’d always land.
Now silence fills that favorite chair,
But in the stillness, you are there.
And when I whisper, I love you, too…
I swear I hear, “Good girl, I do.”
You will always be in my heart granny, until we meet again one sunny day and I can hold your hand once more.
