I sat with you as you slept peacefully and never wanted to let you go, never wanted to say goodbye. Dad, my rock, my friend, my everything. The only one in my life who has never made me cry.....until now. We love you, we miss you, rest easy you've earned your wings, till we meet again.

"I love you more, the end, I win"

From whistling through the letter box and racing to the front door as a child to playing cards, only to realise the sun was rising and we’d been awake all night laughing, through to the end where that cheeky chap twinkle in your eye just wouldn't fade. We will miss you dearly and Albie will miss his “Guitar Grandad”.

We love you (Great) Grandad xxx

Sleep tight mal. I remember sitting with you back in the 80s while you played the guitar. A lovely talented man. Rip xx
