MatthewWILLIAMSOf Staghills Road, Rossendale, passed away on May 8 at Blackburn Royal Infirmary aged 41 years. Matthew was a windows installation fitter for over 20 years. His was part of the Lumb Valley Anglers, fishing was one of his passions in life and he enjoyed watching and playing snooker. He had a love for Techno music, he was well known for mixing and posting his own music on Soundcloud. Matthew was a member of the Lumb Valley Anglers, many social media Techno groups, a former member of many local private Snooker Clubs, representing them in team matches. As all his children got old enough he taught them how to fish and enjoyed experiences of fishing together at weekends. He was a fan and supporter of Burnley Football Club and enjoyed spending time with his younger son Lucas going swimming and on bike rides. He enjoyed making his own curry recipes and family barbecue Matthew leaves behind his two sons Ellis and Lucas and one daughter Ruby, two brothers Chris and Joe, parents mum Jeanette, stepdad Peter and dad Brian. Aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces, many cousins and many friends. A service will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at Hamers Chapel of Rest at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm, conducted by Andrea Robinson. Family flowers only – donations to Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
