I was very sad to hear that Howard has passed away. I have know him for many years & I think I first met him when I worked with Steph in the Parts Dept. at Grimsby Motors.

Our paths crossed again several years ago when he led a large group of Scartho residents to oppose the building of a large number of new houses on farmland at the rear of Shaw Drive & Glebe Road.

Under Howard's excellent leadership we eventually forced an appeal which was a great result & I am sure we wouldn't have achieved that without him. I always found him to be a very friendly, generous man, who always had time for everyone.

We have sadly lost one of the good guys much too early & I am sure he will be greatly missed.

Sadly, I cannot attend the service to celebrate his life but I would like to pass on my condolences to both Steph & family at this difficult time.

Howard you were a good decent man, your memory will remain in our hearts.
