EdwardWILDINGEddie, passed suddenly on Thursday 9th December at home with his devoted wife Kath by his side, aged 77 years of Read and previously of Accrington and Wigan. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen, loving father to Karen, Lisa, Paul, Andrew and Nicola, father-in-law to Tracy and Michelle, adored grandfather of Jessica, Katie, Lucy, Matthew, Georgia, Nathan, Samantha, Shannon, Natasha, Chelsea, Gabrielle and Piers. Eddie started his working life at Heinz in Wigan and worked his way up to being the Managing Director of the fruit drinks department of Associated Dairies in Accrington, followed by working as a consultant in his specialist field of fruit juice. Eddie found his working life most satisfying as it allowed him to travel the world, including travelling on Concorde. Eddie loved to holiday in Tenerife where he had a second home and touring England and through Europe as far as Italy in his caravan. Eddie also enjoyed music and playing his organ. The funeral service will be held at St John's Church, Read on 29th December at 12 noon followed by a burial at Accrington Cemetery.
