Alban GordonWHITESIDEIt is with deep sadness we announce the death of Gordon Whiteside who passed away in hospital on 5th February 2021 aged 86. Gordon was a beloved husband to Margaret and treasured father to Val, Alison, Paula, Nicola and Caro, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends. Those we love do not go away, they walk beside us every day, may God take you and keep you in His care until we can be together again. The family would like to thank the staff at Southport Hospital for their devoted care and attention. The funeral will take place on Friday 19th February at 10.15am at Holy Family Catholic Church, the committal will follow at 11.30am at Ainsdale Catholic Cemetery. By necessity it will be a small, private event. A Memorial Mass will take place later in the year when it is safe to do so. Family flowers only.
