PeterWHITEMOSSof Accrington, peacefully passed away at Hope House on February 22, aged 81 years.

The devoted and much loved husband of Mary and loving dad of Mark and his wife Julie, cherished grandad of Emma and a dear relative and friend. Former tool room engineer at Phillips, Peter was a dedicated employee who served for the company for over 25 years, making many good friends over the years. He was a regular face in the pubs of Accrington where he loved to enjoy a pint whilst catching up with his friends. At home, Peter loved to spend time in the garden tending to his vegetables whilst his beloved wife Mary took care of the flower beds. He enjoyed walking and spent many happy times strolling along the canal path. Peter enjoyed his holidays and always looked forward to getting away to his favourite destinations, Cyprus and Ireland enjoying some well earned rest and relaxation whilst enjoying the local culture. Peter’s funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, March 8 at 1.40pm.
