JohnWHELDALLA Wonderful Gentleman passed away peacefully following a short illness at the Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday 24th February 2026, aged 102 years.

Loved husband of the late Beryl (Bes). Dearly loved father of Janet and Della, father in law to Mark & Ian, much loved brother to Ada, Margaret and the late Bill and Win. A cherished grandad to Charlotte, Edward and Toby, precious great grandad to Tara, Isabella, Ruby and Sophia and a much loved uncle. Jack will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral service to be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel on Monday 13th April 2026 at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.
