No more pain, no more suffering… back where you always wanted to be, with Grandma again.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the memories growing up. You were the one who got me into motorbikes, the one who sparked something that’s now turned into my own successful business. That part of me will always carry you with it.

I learnt a lot from you, Grandad. Not just the practical things, but how to love. The way you loved Grandma stayed with me. I see it in my own life now, 16 years with my beautiful wife Alexandra who’s been my rock through everything. And Codey, your great grandson, is turning 10 this year… I wish you could see him.

Life isn’t always simple, and it’s not easy losing someone you love, especially when things weren’t always how you’d hope. I’m sorry it wasn’t always easy between us.

But none of that takes away from what you meant to me.

Sleep easy Peter. A gentleman in every sense of the word.
Quietly dignified, yet never without a spark of humour that could warm a room when it mattered most. You carried yourself with a calm strength, the kind that doesn’t need to be loud to be deeply felt.

A grandfather to Adam, and great-grandad to Codey.

A motorbike enthusiast at heart, you carried that same quiet passion into the things you loved — the hum of an engine, the freedom of the road, moments of peace found in motion.

Now reunited with your beautiful wife Rosemarie, may you both rest side by side once more, where love carries on beyond time.
