IreneWELLSand Iain, family of the late John Wells, would like to express their thanks to everyone who supported John and ourselves during the illness he battled so bravely over a three year period. Our relatives, friends and neighbours in the community, the doctors and staff of Blackridge Health Centre and the local pharmacy, the Oncology Department and Palliative Care at St. John's Hospital, the District Nurses who visited often in his final weeks and the Marie Curie Hospice at Fairmilehead who did so much for John and ourselves in the short time he was in their care, Rev. Ken Brown for his comforting service, James Brodie Funeral Directors for their caring and efficient services, Lodge Hope Bridgecastle for their premises and Sherlock Catering for the excellent buffet they supplied. The Provincial Grand Lodge of Linlithgowshire, especially Lodge Blackridge No.1145, who carried out John's final wishes with such dignity. And finally, the many friends and family who came from across the UK to pay their last respects to John and very generously donated to his retiral collection for the Palliative Care Unit at St. John's.
