JonathanWEIGHALLJon was a proud and loving husband, dad, grandad and brother who passed away peacefully on 28 June 2026, with his wife, Sue, by his side.

He loved his family deeply and was immensely proud of every one of them.

During the last few years, dementia gradually took away the man he was and the person we all knew and loved, before this cruel disease took hold.

Jon requested a simple, no-fuss direct funeral.

We know he would want everyone to keep him in their hearts, remember him with love and laughter, and celebrate the wonderful life he lived.

Donations made in loving memory of Jon will be forwarded to Dementia UK to help support the vital care and support they provide to those living with dementia and their families.

Always had a laugh with uncle Johnny. Such a good listener and happy to lend a hand if needed. Always remember the holiday away to Cornwall and Woolacombe with the heat wave.
Rest in peace. All our Love xxx

Sylvia Winnett and Gill Rosser.
We remember Jon as a lovely, happy and cuddly man. We know he was extremely proud of his beautiful family. We particularly remember how he used to come every day to collect you from the surgery. If there were cakes in evidence Jon was there... quick as a flash, despite the disapproving looks from you. Recent memories are, no doubt, very hard for you all, but we hope, in time, those will fade and only the happy memories will remain to comfort you. Our thoughts are with you all. RIP Jon. X

Sorry to hear of Jonnys passing. Thinking of you all at this time. He’s at peace now. It’s difficult when illnesses take over, even when you prepare for that sad day, it still hits harder than expected. Just reflect on all the good times. Stay strong.

Our condolences 💐
