Peacefully on September 17th at Cheltenham General Hospital aged 82 years.

Dearly loved Brother of Peter and a much loved uncle to Steven and Natasha and families.

A Celebration of Greg's life will take place at Gloucester Crematorium on Thursday October 23rd at 12-30pm.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu If desired may be sent for The British Heart Foundation C/O S C and B S Cocks Funeral Directors 59, Hucclecote Road, Gloucester GL3 3TL

Greg was a brilliant guy, and a fantastic drummer and teacher. He opened my eyes to what the drums are really about and gave my son a few lessons too. A top bloke who will be missed.

Greg was my drum teacher throughout my youth and again in my mid twenties.

My passion for the drums grew in part from a deep admiration for Greg's own passion for Jazz music, as well as his talent as a drummer and as a teacher. I am honoured to have been taught the drums by him and will think of him often when I play.

It is deeply sad to see he has passed. This news has impacted me deeply. I am eternally grateful for the positive influence he has had on my life, and will continue to have as I remember him.

Thank you Greg, I will miss you.

Amazing drummer and teacher. Taught my son for years. In 2023 my son went back to him and he completed his grade 8 drums at 26 years old. We will miss Greg.
