You would have never have known it mate and I wish I could have told you this (but we're too proud for that but I think you knew), but meeting you had an impact on me and inspired me to become greater at sport in general, initially footie (obviously) but later athletics (all comps esp sprints/middle distance) where you were so talented, but also with weight training / keeping kit and of course, Golf too which you excelled at too. TY mate
I'm proud of what you achieved but also proud that you inspired your mates too.
Always loved having a beer or two with ya years later when you were back home. So sad at your passing and sending my love to M & D (Gloria, Roy) and Jo and Paul and wider family & friends.
