God bless you Dorothy, I remember sleeping over, and having to share the bed with Sharon and you asking me to wake her up to use her potty, and I know this is silly but, I remember you and John had a bedspread, so when I was bought one I felt all grown up and it brought me happy memories of you and John sleeping with the view of the Green Field, called Chestergreen.

I do hope you are catching up and having a good time with your husband, Iris and Jim and my Mum too.

Thank you.

Love Glenise xxx

I lived next door but one from Jim and Iris when I was a child.

In the era when we, as kids were brought up to use Mr & Mrs so-and-so, Dorothy (and John) were the first of the "Chester Greeners" to insist on us using their Christian names. I will never forget the love, trust, freedom and kindness Dorothy (and John) gave us. Rest well Great Lady and thank you for being part of my formative years. I guess you can lock the front door now.
