Kate was my auntie but more like a sister and a best friend. She was the best Godmother and great aunt to my boys, showed incredible kindness and love to all of us. I can’t imagine life without her. Truly talented, unique and loved. Amy xxx

Dear Katy was a much valued member of our writers' group. We have been together online for four years and in that time, Katy became a good friend to me and to everyone in the group. I will miss her sharp observations and her wonderful writing, that was funny, poignant and honest. Katy had a talent that shone out: a bright star that burnt out far too soon.
