Marguerite IreneWARDWhilst in the care of Bridgewater park, Margaret passed away peacefully with her family by her side on the 16th September 2024 aged 100 years. Devoted wife of the late George. Loving Mum of David and Hazel. A mother-in-law, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great Great Grandma and Auntie. A good and loyal friend to many. A service will be held at St Lawrences church Scunthorpe on Thursday 17th October at 1:00pm followed by interment at Woodlands Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00pm. Flowers would be welcome, however donations in lieu and in memory of Margaret may be made if preferred following the ceremony to the Royal British Legion. The family have stated that Margaret's favourite colour was green therefore anyone wishing to acknowledge this may wish to wear something reflecting this colour.
