MichaelWARBURTONMr Michael Warburton, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, February 23, aged 74. Michael was Haslingden born and bred, attending St Mary’s RC primary school, then went on to All Saints Catholic High School. He served his time as an engineer at Stott’s Foundry, then went on to work at Mullards and Holden Vale. A quiet gentleman, he loved listening to his music, especially jazz and opera. He leaves his sister Mary and brother-in-law Roger, nieces, nephews, and friends who will fondly remember him. Due to current restrictions, a private Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, March 12, at St Mary’s RC Church, Haslingden, following a burial at Haslingden cemetery, officiated by Fr.
