Vivian (Mrs Walton) was one of my fondly remembered teachers from Buckland School (Staines), circa 1976. I am just happy that I recognised her in Ashford a few year ago. We chatted for a while and I was able to personally thank her for all she did for us as pupils. Unforgettable.

I met Vivien 60 years ago when she was my sister's primary school teacher. She and then Graham became close family friends who we loved dearly. For many years now we have only communicated by Xmas cards, but I will always remember Vivien as a lovely, kind, caring friend and a big influence in my life.

Sorry, just been informed by Keith, what a shock and she will be dearly missed in a lot of peoples lives. I have known Vivien for as long as I can remember, ever since Graham asked me to be his best man at their wedding. Although I live in Manchester we used to chat on the phone and meet up whenever they visited Graham's auntie in Swinton. A tragic loss such an outward going person, she will leave a hole in my memory. I will also miss the beautiful old English handwriting she could do so well.
Sleep well Vivien.

Dear Vivien ! I have been thinking about you often and you are dearly missed. Used to talk to you every week or twice a week via telephone for a year. It is hard to accept that I should not be calling you. We will meet again. Marek

Vivien Mam I miss you so much. You are a beautiful human being who loved to help others without any expectations. I am so proud to be your student and you motivated me during hard times to keep my goal alive to become a teacher. I am always grateful to you and you will always be in my prayer. You are so special. I will remember you always. I miss you so much and it will take ages to get out from this shock. You are lovely and May God rest your soul in peace.

Vivien was a very dear, special and loyal friend to me for over 40 years. As fellow Mancunians we had very similar upbringings in the 1940's and 50's and used to love reminiscing and having a "laff".
My late partner, Philip, and I met her and Graham in and around London as well as France and later, Chicago where she met and charmed my American friends.
I will miss her so much. Bises, Glen.
