EddieWALSHIt is with great sadness that the family announce the passing away of our dad on Tuesday 19th November aged 97, who is now reunited with our beautiful mother. He will be greatly missed by his children, John, Tommy, Edward, Maria and Anthony, his eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. We would like to express our huge gratitude to the Rapid Response Team, the Enablement Team and the wonderful nurses and doctors at the QE hospital for treating dad with such kindness and respect. You really do go the extra mile and treated our dad as though he was your own family. Dad will be welcomed into St. Jude's RC Church, Maypole at 6 pm on Wednesday 4th December for a short service, followed by Requiem Mass at 10:45 on Thursday 5th for 12:00 burial at Kings Norton Cemetery. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind messages, words of condolence and sympathy cards. RIP dad, what a legend, what a man.

How quickly one year turns to three. I was looking through some old photos and there you were with Charlie and my dad. I am so glad that you and I were in regular contact, even close to the end. You are loved and missed by this 70 year old Packer. I am certain that you and Hilda are together and at peace.

Eddie, I thought of you as a second dad. You were always such a kind gentleman and I will always remember the wonderful times when you, my dad and Charlie were together. The laughter never stopped. I think of you daily. Our long distance conversations were wonderful and even just 7 days before you passed, we were laughing on the phone. I will never forget you and Hilda. Love from all here in the USA
