Have only just found out that my old mate Geoff Wallace has died as we lost touch when I moved away.
I knew Geoff back in the sixties when I lived in Wallsend.
He was such a good mate!
We were the Likely Lads then , He was Terry who knew how to enjoy life and I was Bob the serious one.
We had some great times in Newcastle and Geoff used to travel up to Alnwick on his motorbike to stay for the weekend.
He was the one who always got the girls!
We used to laugh so much with daft stories and jokes about life in general, that we could hardly finish our beer through laughing at one story piled on top of another!
Thanks for being such a good friend Geoff and very best wishes to your family!
Bill(y) Mayall.
