Anthony BernardVIVIANIt is with much sadness that we announce, Anthony (Tony) Bernard Vivian, passed away peacefully at Yeovil and District Hospital on Tuesday 21st October 2025, aged 86 years.
Born in July 1939, 'Tony' worked at Westland Helicopters from August, 1954 until January, 1993, when he finished with a Medical Retirement.
In those years Tony worked on the Westland Wyvern fighter, through to PP3 of the EH101, which later became the Merlin helicopter.
Tony's final role was as Staff Senior Aircraft Inspector. Away from work, Tony had a keen interest in wildlife, Formula One, Rugby and Fishing, to name a few.
Tony will be sadly missed by both family, and friends alike.
Tony's Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Church in Martock on Thursday 4th December 2025 at 2:00pm, followed by burial at Martock United Reformed Church.
