John ThomasVERLAQUEJohn suddenly passed at home after a short illness on 14th December 2025.

A beloved husband to Susan, a much-loved dad to Hannah and Andrew, a loving, proud Papa to Callan, and a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

A funeral service to celebrate John's life will be held on Wednesday 7th January 2026, 2.00pm at The Hurlet Crematorium to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Our St Mirin’s Academy school days were memorable John! You, me and Brian Ward were a good trio. Later you moved on to operating theatre assistance and worked alongside my wife Marie for years in ophthalmic theatre. You will always be remembered.
