FredVAUGHANVAUGHAN Fred(05.08.1920 - 10.04.2008 With sorrow the family announce the death on April 10 at Prince Charles Hospital of Fred Vaughan BA, devoted husband of Violet, loving father of David and daughter-in-law Gillian, sadly missed grandfather of Helen, Owain and Gareth. For many years Fred had been a History teacher at Afon Taf High School but in later years his illness caused him to be severely handicapped. The family wish to convey sincere gratitude to loyal friends, colleagues, cheerful home helpers and caring hospital staff. Special thanks to the Rev Eifion Wynne for his warm and thoughtful words and to Gareth Griffiths of Caradoc Price, Tegwyn P Griffiths and Sons for his sensitive and efficient funeral arrangements.
