Happy birthday, dad. It was lovely to come and speak to you with mum and Chris earlier. I hope you like the sunflowers and the music. It wasn't very sunny today so I hope that Mr Blue Sky by ELO made you smile. It always reminds me of you when I hear it. Sending you lots of love and thinking of you xxxxx

Merry Christmas to you, dad. It was nice to come and see you yesterday. I hope you enjoyed me playing you I believe in Father Christmas by Greg Lake. I know that was one of your favourites at this time of year.

I visited with mum on the 22nd to put some Christmas flowers there for you, and Chris & Kim visited on Christmas Day.

Man City have been doing well, they won 2-1 away at Nottingham Forest yesterday. I hope you enjoyed the game if you saw it.

Love you, dad. I hope you’re doing ok up there. It was nice to come and see you earlier, it’s been a difficult last few days. I can barely believe it’s been four years now. It doesn’t get much easier without hearing your voice or coming to see you. Lots of love from all of us x

Happy Father's Day, dad. I'll be watching Manchester City on Wednesday, when they play Wydad AC in the FIFA Club World Cup. I'm sure you'll be watching them too. The team is looking stronger now with the new players that Pep has bought in. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do together.
