The obituary notice of Trevor UPTON

I’ve just seen this announcement and wish to offer my sincere condolences to Trevor’s family and friends.
I hadn’t seen Trevor (or Jeanette or their parents) in very many years but have happy memories of times spent with him back in the 60s, just hanging out and sometimes playing cricket and football with Trevor Harding, Bob Smith and Richard Gummer; and when they tried (unsuccessfully) for months to teach me the rudiments of bridge at Trevor’s parents’ house.
I also remember the four of us clubbing together to buy Cream’s ‘Sunshine of Your Love’ and taking it home in turn to record it, though at the time I rather horrified them by saying I preferred the B-side ‘NSU’.
Sorry guys.
And sorry Trevor, I’ve always been useless at staying in touch but knowing you’re no longer around cuts away another piece of me.
Rest in peace, old friend.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Trevor. I knew the family very well when we lived in Tonbridge.
