Allan, thank you for the pleasure of knowing you both inside and outside of work. A true and kind gentleman who took every adverse thing this world had the indecency to throw at you with incredible passion and demeanour. You leave behind an indelible mark on myself and the many that knew you. I sure will miss that "proper" handshake. RIP Allan and "take care youth" Condolences to Kathryn and extended family.

I first met Alan when he interviewed me for a job at World Parts Centre in 2004. I was fortunate enough to get the job and I worked at WPC for the next 3 and a half years under Alans leadership. He was a wonderful man, very intelligent, witty, always approachable whenever I needed to speak with him. The only thing I didn't like about him is that he used to squeeze my hand lol, so hard until I was in a lot of pain. He loved it of course and would just sit there laughing at me squirming. I have a lot of fond memories with Alan as I still work at JCB and I used to see him around quite often and on the odd occasion outside of work. My sincerest condolences to you all as a family.
