AlisonTURNER1st January 1963 to 1st January 2025

On Wednesday 1st January, her birthday, Alison sadly passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, aged 62, in the ICU of Lincoln County Hospital. Sincere thanks to all NHS, EMAS, QMC Nottingham and Lives staff who treated and cared for Alison.

Alison was the daughter of Janet and Neville Turner (deceased), a sister to Michael, and was brought up in Skellingthorpe, Lincoln. She was born in Lincoln, attended the Holt Primary School in the village and then Robert Patterson School, in North Hykeham where she made many friends who, after school days, remained part of her life. Alison remained living close to Skellingthorpe, and all her working and family life was spent in Lincoln. Alison was Dave's partner for 44 years and loving Mum to their children, Matthew, George and Emily, a dedicated Grandma to Willow, Freddie and Finley and an aunt & Godmother to Ciara Mae. Alison lived life to the full and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Alison's funeral wishes were for a direct unattended cremation with then a Celebration of Life Service, which will be held in Skellingthorpe Community Centre starting at 14.00hr on Saturday 22nd March 2025. All family and friends of Alison are welcome to attend this social gathering. If you wish to attend, please advise by email to [email protected] such that appropriate arrangements for numbers can be planned. No flowers please, but there will be a collection on the day for Alison's nominated charities - British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, LCH Special Care Baby Unit and the Cathedral Fabric Fund. Furthermore, the family would love people to document their memorable Alison moments and pictures in the Memory Books at the Service or by email, such that they can be included.

Ali was a lovely and kind person who loved life. I knew Ali for fifty years from school we hung out played football she was the only girl we allowed to play she was good. I can't believe no more catch ups and nagging me to take better care of myself. Love and best wishes to your family I hope you're somewhere as beautiful as you XX Dickie Towner

Ali, from the moment James met Em you welcomed us with open arms into your beautiful family with so much love.
We shall miss your smile, laugh and sense of humour. We shall treasure the times we spent together and always talk about the night we introduced you to Irish Snap. We were really looking forward to camping with you and sharing the joy of watching Finley grow up.
You will always be remembered and live on through Matt, George and Emily and your gorgeous grandchildren.
Sleep tight Ali

Ali was always on her bicycle.
She had the addition of a 'hub' to travel with her children.
It takes alot of care and maintenance. Ali did this proficiently.
She was one of the first females I had seen do this.
I am very proud to have known her.
