John Borthwick (known as Jack)TURNBULLTURNBULL John Borthwick known as Jack (Byker formerly Blakelaw) Peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday 1st August 2022 aged 89 years, Jack beloved husband of the late Ellen, a loving dad of Raymond, Billy, Jacqueline, Jan and Mary also a dear father in law of Margaret, Gill, Trevor and John a much loved grandad and great grandad. Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at the West Road Crematorium on Thursday 11th August at 2.45pm Immediate family to leave from Belvedere House. Immediate family flowers only please donations if so desired in aid of Marie Curie, a collection will be held after the service. All welcome afterwards for light refreshments back at Belvedere House. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our family would like to say a big thank you to all the medical staff who helped dad to manage his illness, your dedication and care was impeccable. We would also like to give our gratitude to Marie Curie for helping father-dad-da which we his children called him come to the end of his life in such a dignified way. Mam waited patiently, you're right back where you belong by her side no one can part you now.
