Jak Neil WalterTRUEMANAllison, Aimie and the Barr family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love and support following their devastating loss of their beautiful son and brother Jak Trueman. Deepest gratitude to Dr Valentine and staff in Childrens Ward, St. John's, ICU, Ward 2 staff and Dr Thomas, Dr Baird, Dr Neil, Physios, Jennifer and everyone involved in Jak's care in RHSC, Edinburgh, CLIC House, Edinburgh and Heather, Yorkhill Hospital, East Calder Medical Practice, Community Nurses Joanna, Sandra and Nicola and our good friend Dr Iain McLeod, all of whom went well above and beyond the call of duty for my boy. We would also like to thank everyone who has sent messages of support and love, for all the beautiful flowers, offers of help and gifts and the beautiful wreaths sent for Jak from many local football teams, WLSAFL and other people close to him. Grateful thanks to everyone involved in making Jak's Service of Celebration so very special, including Mark Traynor, Nanda Groenewald, Bill Clark and Pete Buchan, Ben Smith, Kirk O' Calder, Fife Cemetery staff and to the Drummond Hotel in Markinch and Chocolate Fountains of Perth for an amazing send off. Also to our dear friends Donald and Lynda McLauchlan at the Black Bull, Mid Calder, Neil and Joanne Alexander for all their support, West Calder High School Music Dept and Band, Laura Douglas, Ruth Glen for organising Jak's Prom, Watersports and PE staff for all their support, Mid Calder Colts 99s, Nigel, Alan and Derek for the great Guard of Honour and also huge fundraiser which has made things so much easier at this time. Also to our lovely community of Mid Calder and beyond for all their love and continued support at this time. Massive thanks also to Charlie from Thomas Grieve & Son for his outstanding professional service and amazing job exceptionally well done, he was given a few challenges and rose to every single one and more to ensure my beautiful boy got everything and more he deserved. We are delighted the collection on Tuesday raised £3002.65 for Team Jak which will go towards realising Jak's wishes for Jaks Den. Go and party with our blessing Jak. - Simply the Best.
