RIP Rose cheddar woods will be a special memory xx

Rose was like a mother to me. I first met her in 1979, she became my mother-in-law in 1980. We went on holidays together, we had so many adventures and lots of laughter. I feel so privileged to have known her. My condolences and love to all of her family and friends x

I’ve known Rose since I was 11 years old, and she has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. More than my mum’s best friend, she felt like extended family — always there, always kind, always interested in our lives.

She shared 47 years of friendship with my mum, filled with work, travel, laughter, family gatherings and countless memories. Their bond was something really special, and one that I know meant the world to them both.
