IreneTRICKETTof Hurst Lane, Rawtenstall passed away on August 11 at Turfcote Nursing Home, Haslingden, aged 81 years. Irene worked in the education department of Lancashire County Council prior to retirement. In her earlier working years she worked at K Steels. Irene was a keen dancer, enjoyed sewing, was a seamstress, she also enjoyed caravanning and socialising. Irene leaves her husband Frank, son Andrew and daughter-in-law Amanda, daughter Lisa, grandchildren Emma, Brandon and sister Ruth. As well as nephew Ben, niece Sarah, nephew Ian and niece Victoria. A funeral will be held on August 23 at the chapel of rest at 10.45am, followed by a service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 11.30am, conducted by Kathy Unsworth. Family flowers only and donations to Dementia UK.
