You went away so suddenly
We did not say goodbye
But family can never be parted
Precious memories never die.

A year has gone and life moves on
Though life is not the same.
I miss your voice, your smiling face,
Yet I know you're in a happier place.
Today, tomorrow, throughout life too,
The love in my heart will hold sweet memories of you.

Oh Mike, you will be so very missed by our whole family. Remember last Thanksgiving, sitting around the table and talking about all the memories - Bush Gardens, Gem mining in NC., Atlanta, Sanibel Island, etc? We all did have some fun, didn't we? The kids said how glad they were that they got to see you and wished you had been able to be here Christmas ... We never know what lies in the future but, we are grateful for the time spent together in the past.
