Mark sadly passed away whilst on holiday in Sri Lanka.

Devoted and loving husband to Ann.
Dedicated dad to Jack and Charlie. Beloved step father to Emily, Rosalind and Georgia.
A respected friend to many.
Mark will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Funeral service to be held at West Lancashire Crematorium Chapel,
Friday 9th January 2026 at 1pm
Followed by a private woodland burial at West Lancashire Natural Burial Ground.

Family Flowers only, however, donations are being collected in fond memory of Mark,
a charity so close to his heart, The Tamarin Trust - tamarintrust.org

We will hold such great memories of Mark, especially on a recent holiday to Wales along with Ann which was full of laughter. We used to always say when we all met up that we ran out of time as there was always so much to chat and laugh about. There is so much we would like to say about Mark ... he was just a really lovely friend and we had so much more we wanted to share with Mark in the future. He will be greatly missed but we will treasure the memories we have . Xx

When we first met Mark it instantly felt like we'd known him for years. He was so open, upbeat, and full of interesting stories and facts - and the perfect match for Ann. We're so glad that we got to know him, but just wish it could have been for longer.
