The obituary notice of Eric TOMLINSON

Myself, Judith my daughter Fiona and son Max have been honoured and blessed with a friendship over many years with Eric, beginning in Milnrow. He was a true gentleman through and through. There will never be enough words to sum up Eric, a man of compassion, kindness, sense of humour and a loving family man at heart. He had a calming influence on all who knew him. We will always remember Eric and especially when eating mince pies at Christmas time. There is a saying “Who ate all the pies?” Well, Eric and my late husband Ian, decided to eat all the mince pies which I had made for Christmas Day before the event, needless to say I was not pleased and reminded often by Eric. Thank you Eric for being a special part of our lives…you were simply the best!!
