Beloved husband to Lilian, father to Diane and Karen, father-in-law to John and Ian, grandfather to Jessica, Alasdair, Sarah, Alexander, Harry and Matthew, and great-grandfather to Max. Born in Ryhope, Co Durham and died in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. A leading figure in the Cooperative movement and a Warwickshire County Councillor. Funeral service to take place at St Botolph's Church, Burton Hastings on Wednesday, 5 July at 3pm.
