Urias ScobleTODNER MBE'Hughie' Passed away peacefully on 15 June 2023, aged 92. Beloved husband to Lilian, father to Diane and Karen, father-in-law to John and Ian, grandfather to Jessica, Alasdair, Sarah, Alexander, Harry and Matthew, and great-grandfather to Max.
Born in Ryhope, Co Durham and died in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. A leading figure in the Cooperative movement and a Warwickshire County Councillor.
Funeral service to take place at St Botolph's Church, Burton Hastings on Wednesday, 5 July at 3pm. Family flowers only please, but donations may be made in Hughie's memory to the British Heart Foundation.

I fondly remember Hughie Todner from my days of parking ( uninvitedly ) in the Nuneaton Co-op car park during the early 1980's.
Hugh was firm but very fair when he caught us red-handed....a genuinely nice guy who I've always remembered fondly.
