It is with great sadness to announce that Averill passed away suddenly with her loving family by her side
at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, aged 90 years old on 16th December 2025.
Reunited with her beloved husband Raymond and her dear daughter Marie, much loved mum to Katrina and Vivian, Averill was also a mother-in-law to John and Mark, nana, great-nana and great-great-nana, sister, auntie and a great friend to many who shall be sadly missed by all that knew her.
A Service to celebrate Averill's life shall be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 15th January 2026 at 10.30am.
Flowers welcome or donations in Averill's memory can be made to the Blue Cross.
A donation box shall also be made available on the day.
