THORPPresident of Royal British Legion, Littleover Branch, aged 90 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on March 30th 2001. Beloved husband of Hilda for the last 67 years, dear dad of Peter and Pat, father-in-law of George and a much loved grandad of Julie, Robert and Victor and great-grandad of Amy, Charlotte, Kay and Chloe. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Wednesday April 11th, service 12.30pm in St. Peter's Church, Littleover, followed by private family cremation. Family flowers only please, but any donations in lieu may be made payable to "Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal" and sent to Mr Bernard Page, 51 Brisbane Road, Mickleover, Derby, DE3 5LS.
