Dave passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at The Royal Derby Hospital on the 23rd of March 2026. Aged 85 years. The dearly loved husband of 61 years to Joy. Cherished father of Wendy and Claire and Father-in-law of Ian. Much loved Grandad of Harry, Emma, Amy and Isabelle. Beloved brother-in-law to the late Judith and uncle to Richard and his family.
Former employee of Rolls Royce, C9 Sinfin, Derby. He was a friend to many and will be sorely missed.
A funeral service for David will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at 1.30pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations may be given in lieu of floral tributes to Prostate Cancer Uk and other charities close to Dave's heart. Dress code - Please dress for your own comfort and style.
